Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now a few days old, but as is always the case with the franchise, there’s plenty of content that developer Treyarch has in the pipeline that it intends to add to the game over the coming weeks and months. Some of it, in fact, is already almost here.
Taking to Twitter, Treyarch revealed that it will be adding a new mode and map to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 this week. More specifically, zombies-infested multiplayer mode Infected will become available to all players starting tomorrow, Tuesday, while fan favourite series staple map Nuketown is also set to arrive later this week, on Friday. Both are, of course, going to be familiar additions for series fans, but they’re also welcome additions.
Upon its launch last week, though Black Ops 6 saw some criticism from players on Steam, it also attracted a sizeable audience on the platform, seeing a peak of over 306,000 concurrent players, surpassing the numbers for Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
