It doesn’t look like we’re going to get a new Fallout game anytime soon, but thanks to Amazon Prime’s show based on the franchise, Fallout fans do still have plenty to look forward to. After the success of the show’s first season, Amazon officially greenlit a second season in April, and it looks like work on it is continuing to gather pace, with filming set to begin soon as well.
That’s as per actress Leslie Uggams, who plays Vault 33 resident Betty Pearson on the show, who claimed in a recent interview with Screen Rant that Fallout’s second season will begin filming next month. “We start November. I’m excited about it,” she said.
Little is known about Fallout Season 2, including when we can expect it to air. If filming is indeed kicking off next month, it’s likely that it won’t be until at least late 2025 that the season is ready for public consumption- and that would be a best case scenario. Either way, work on the series is continuing apace, which is something that fans can take solace in.
Meanwhile, a Fallout Day Broadcast is also set for October 23, where Bethesda Game Studios intends to announce what’s next for Fallout 76, so stay tuned for more updates on that front.
