Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remaster games are 20% off through this weekend

The Final Fantasy series has gone through several eras, and at this point, it’s been 3D longer than it hasn’t. But that first decade of Final Fantasy’s reign is also one of the most consequential in video game history. The original Final Fantasy sextet is a treasure in time, and right now you can pick up the Pixel Remasters for 20% off, with the full Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remaster bundle on sale for $59.99 (was $74.99) from Nintendo, PlayStation, and Humble (as Steam keys). The sale runs through Monday, Aug. 12, on Humble and through Wednesday, Aug. 15, on the Nintendo/PlayStation storefronts.

For those that already have a handful of these titles in your digital library, you can also pick up individual titles from the Nintendo and PlayStation stores, with prices ranging from $9.59 (was $11.99) for the original Final Fantasy up to $14.39 (was $17.99) for Final Fantasy 6.

If you’ve never played the original Final Fantasy games, you might be surprised how many series staples have been there since the early days. Airships? Since the beginning. Chocobos?
