This Nvidia RTX gaming PC is an absolute steal right now

If you’re looking to buy a new gaming PC, but you don’t have a huge stack of cash at your disposal, then here’s a great opportunity to bag a great system for under $900. This budget gaming PC deal on Best Buy enables you to save $100 on the usual price of this CyberPower Xtreme Gaming Desktop, which has all the key components you need to play the latest games at 1080p with decent settings.

Indeed, that specs list includes an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, which is often found in the best gaming PC builds that cost over a grand, so it’s great to be able to get one in an $899 rig. In our GeForce RTX 4060 review, this graphics card coped really well with our test suite, averaging above 60fps in five of our six game benchmarks, and even hitting 84fps in Total War: Warhammer 3, and 92fps in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

The only outlier was Cyberpunk 2077, which we run at the highly demanding ultra ray tracing preset, but you can also get this game running smoothly on this GPU, thanks to Nvidia DLSS 3. This gives you access to Nvidia’s frame-generation tech, which uses AI to insert additional frames into the game, smoothing out the frame rate to an average of 55fps on this card.

Add DLSS Super Resolution upscaling to the mix, and the average frame rate goes all the way up to 90fps in this game on the RTX 4060. Basically, thanks to DLSS, you can run the most demanding games at high settings, including ray tracing, on an $899 PC, as long as you’re only playing at 1,920 x 1,080.

Meanwhile, the ten-core Intel Core i5 14400F CPU builds on the solid foundation set by the Core i5 13400F, one of the best gaming CPUs you can buy on a budget right now. It has six P-Cores, which are the ones you need for gaming, and they can boost to up to 4.7GHz. This isn’t as high as the 5.4GHz clock speed you can achieve on the Core i5 14600K, of course, but it’s fine for gaming, where the GPU is the more important part of the equation. You also get four power-efficient E-Cores in addition to those P-Cores, giving you a boost in heavily multi-threaded software, such as video encoding apps.

This rig also comes in a fancy-looking, aquarium-style case with a wrap-around window to show off the RGB lighting inside the machine. It looks great, and you even get a basic keyboard and mouse with the system. Meanwhile, the 1TB SSD gives you enough storage space to install a few games, and while the 16GB of DDR5 memory is only the bare minimum we’d recommend for a new system right now, it’s still fine for gaming, and you can always upgrade the RAM later.

In short, this is a solid, good-looking gaming PC for a very reasonable price right now. If you want to buy this gaming rig for $899.99, then click on this link here.
